
The Ministry of Defense of Spain announced the cancellation of the transaction for the purchase of 1680 SPIKE LR2 anti -tank missiles for the improvement of the Israeli protection subject Rafael in the quantity of 287.5 million euros.
According to the terms of the transaction authorised by means of the Parliament of Spain a few days before the massacre on October 7, the missiles have been purported to be made in Spain below the Israeli license, and replace the previous technology of Spike anti -tank missiles, which the Spanish military is presently armed.
In addition, the Ministry of Defense decided to desert the integration of technologies of the Israeli defense challenge Elbit Maarahot into a new Silam salivary hearth device.
Both choices are part of the route declared by means of the Ministry of Defense of Spain for “exemption on technological dependence on Israel.”
